As the ambassador for Italy, the star-crowned chef Norbert Niederkofler confers his quality seal on ChefAlps. After years of travel through the kitchens of all the grand masters of his craft, the South Tyrolean returned to his roots in the Dolomites, and has spoilt his guests since 1994 at the Rosa Alpina Hotel & Spa in San Cassiano / Badia. Two Michelin stars, four toques and 19 GaultMillau points crown his art of cookery that is based on the philosophy: ‘The variety is to be found in the mix of simplicity. Lightness can be seen and tasted’.
